Kirsten Burke Contemporary Calligraphy

A thirteen metre mural to document the work of Shakespeare as a time line.
Client: Robin Wade and Partners for The Globe Theatre

The piece enables the viewer to determine when each play was written, how long it took Shakespeare to write, when it was printed and the playhouse it was written for. This information is set alongside 'tit bits' of the time to provide a historical context.
